The Client is a 25 year old petro chemical marketing and development company.They have a strong presence in the Middle East region with a huge market share. Its products include titanium dioxide used in painting, inks, plastic, rubber, paper, textile, ceramic tiles, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical products; and lead, polypropylene, and sodium sulphate etc

The client had already implemented SAP with multiple company codes. With the advent of newer plants, they wanted to roll-out SAP in the new locations. Their systems operation was implemented with a company code and a plant code specific to a product. With a huge explosion of new products, the client wanted to rollout the same for multiple products with different processes. A major challenge was to identify the right plants for implementing their production process, since each product was unique and had a different process.

Our team carefully addressed the initial challenges of choosing between a single plant and multiple plants. Our consultants interacted with key operations staff in identifying and educating the users about the pros and cons of both scenarios, in terms of handling production process transactions and its impact on product cost. The roll-out was planned in a way to minimize customizations, and yet still add newer functionalities.

Post implementation, we provided extended support to make sure the client did not have any issues during actual go-live. In addition, Kaar provided support for the client's preparedness for starting the portal development and training their users.
