Our team of consultants set up the procedures for Succession planning. The Qualification Catalog was created, required qualification was set for each critical position, and employee qualification with complete skill set was also captured into the system. A Profile match up option was created which would generate the list of possible candidates/ potential successors for a position. Positions with no suitable matches were classified as deficits; to fill those deficits, the system proposes training programs to next level candidates. A SAP Training & Event management module was implemented to automate their training needs, and this was paired with an Employee Self Service (ESS) system to automate the process. We rounded up the procedure by implementing an objective appraisal system to monitor the progress and growth of employees. |
