The company’s oil operations cover Saudi Arabia including territorial waters in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea totaling more than 1.5 million sq. km and proven reserves of 259.8 billion barrels of oil. Its revenue stands at an excess of $200 billion, as of April 2008.

In an extremely large organization, managing huge loans, which amounts to billions of dollars for employees’ housing needs, is always a challenging task. Adding to these complexities is a huge system with diverse transactions, workflows, batch jobs and integration of this Home Loan system with the SAP system The client wanted to enhance the current system so that the transactions through the system are less time-consuming, less labor intensive and offer themselves sufficient flexibility to support evolving business demands, along with retaining the existing processes and functionalities.

Our team of consultants studied the clients existing SAP Home Loan system and recommended a Solution which simplified the existing system to a great extent, by making sure that the existing functionality is retained. The simplifications made by Kaar's consultants made sure that the entire system, right from maintaining the application for home loans, managing the site allotment, maintaining the loan agreement, to repayment of loans by employees was streamlined and user friendly. Most of the features were incorporated with 'Just a click of the button'. The custom application was developed with SAP HR, integrating with SAP Payroll and FI.
