Being an extremely large institution, managing healthcare activities was a huge concern for the client. There was no proper corporate system which supported the control of the activities like Registering Patients, Allocating doctors to the patients, Defining contracts between institution and patients, Administrating insurance activities and reporting etc They were conducted either manually or on a variety of disparate systems and importantly they were handled in an asynchronous mode. These activities were therefore time-consuming, labor intensive, unstable due to the lack of authorization and did not offer sufficient flexibility to support evolving business demands. Therefore, they wanted to rebuild a comprehensive health care management system to address their needs. |
