The client is the world’s largest oil corporation with the largest crude oil reserves and production. The company’s oil operations cover Saudi Arabia including territorial waters in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea totaling more than 1.5 million sq. km and proven reserves of 259.8 billion barrels of oil. Its revenue stands at an excess of $200 billion, as of April 2008.

With a growing head count of contractual staff, the client needed intelligent reports to track, manage, plan and strategize their contract staff needs.

Our team of consultants mapped the client’s requirements and suggested BI 7.0 reports. We built a bridge between SAP R/3 system and BI system to extract transactional data. This allowed us to structure transactional data into data targets. In the BI system, analytical reports are prepared from the data targets based on business user requirements. For executing this SAP HR was integrated with E-Recruitment module. We also built dashboards by involving components like BSP, ABAP, Potral, BW template etc. We delivered a set of reports, including a vendor performance report, graphical KPI report, head count report, procurement process report etc.

By partnering with Kaar, the client successfully implemented reporting environments for their contract staffing system. The business leaders responsible for recruitments had access to over 120 reports which enabled them to analyze and operate their business to maximum efficiency.
