The client is a leading Chemical Major who supplies raw materials to major FMCG manufacturers and exports to 80 different companies across the globe.

Generating a business report for the management was a tedious process of collecting various data from SAP ECC 5.0 system and then export it to an excel sheet and format it based on the organization reporting requirement. This would require an involvement of a dedicated associate to perform this task and was taking 2-3 days per report generation.

An experienced team of SAP technical consultants from Kaar was chosen and were deployed on this particular assignment. They fist conducted workshops to gather the requirements and get clarifications on the current scenarios by closely working with the client’s employees. Further they came up with a Solution of implementing Business Intelligence 7.0 to organize the current report Generation process.

The reporting requirements were varied from basic line manager reports to critical MIS reports. Kaar activated Standard Business content and tried to limit the custom developed Data sources. All custom built Data sources are delta enabled and that would help the delta load in the process chain. Cross functional reports are achieved by combining the targets in Multi provider. All queries are developed using BEx Query Designer and exposed the query result in BEx Analyzer.

Kaar not only gave a completely new look and feel, it also helped the client with reports for top management to make informed decisions.
