The Client
The Client is a leading Automobile Major, manufacturing cars in India in collaboration with another Auto giant. The products include passenger cars, trucks, multi utility vehicles, power shift transmission products, engines, power product units and engineering equipments.
 
The Challenges
It was an Application Support Services project, where our consultants understood that the client faced major challenges in the areas of System management (Basic), production planning, Quality management, Finance, Material management and Sales and Distribution. Further the existing system landscape was not updated with the new SAP patches which resulted in instability of the system and also faced storage constraints due to the space crunch in their database.
 
What Kaar Offered
Kaar with its past experience in the Application Support Services has an in built process and a online tracking tool which was deployed exclusively for this project. The client’s end user when they encounter any issue in the SAP application would raise a trouble ticket in the tracking tool. One of our consultants would classify the trouble tickets as per the complexity of the issue and resolve them within the agreed SLA. Also Kaar suggested the client for a technical upgrade so as to enhance the existing SAP system landscape and also help in archiving the old database.

With the experienced SAP consultants we enabled a smooth functioning of the current application system with a stabilized process flow. This enabled the client to build a resource pool of trained employees by employing the user training manual. Other benefits are, reduced cost of production, better control, and transparency of operations.
